After a one-year absence, the Cincinnati VMUG will be hosting a User Conference on Thursday, November 7th at the Sharonville Convention Center. Details of the event can be found here. The Cincinnati VMUG hosted their first user conference back in 2011. I was lucky enough to be a part of that event as a member of the Cincinnati VMUG steering committee.
If you live in Cincinnati and am a member of the VMUG, you know of the changes that took place in 2012. I am no longer a member of the steering committee as my employment at VMware does not allow me to have direct involvement in the VMUG. Obviously I attend the meetings to help drive conversation as well as provide presentations and demos of VMware solutions, but as far as scheduling meetings and sponsorship (if any) for those meetings, I am hands-off.
Irish Spring will be providing a VMware update. As you know, VMware made huge announcements at both VMworld – US and VMworld – Europe so expect plenty of discussion during the opening keynote from Irish. Chris Wahl, a well respected community member, will be presenting in the afternoon keynote about…, well I’m not sure but if you follow Chris at all you can expect a great lighthearted discussion.
I’m looking forward to seeing you there.
